Michael Kelley

Michael Kelley, MS, PA-C, is a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant with a passion for providing comprehensive care in musculoskeletal health, pain management, and regenerative therapies. With a career spanning over 30 years, Michael brings a wealth of expertise to the Performance Medicine Institute, where he works with patients to achieve optimal health and performance.

Michael earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from George Washington University and Master's degrees from the Arizona School of Health Sciences and The University of Nebraska Medical Center. He also completed a highly competitive fellowship in orthopedic surgery at the Naval Medical Center. His educational background, combined with specialized training in orthopedic surgery and regenerative therapies, has equipped him with the knowledge and skills to deliver personalized, evidence-based care.

His clinical career began in the United States Navy, where he served in various roles, including as a Staff Physician Assistant and Medical Officer during his deployment in Operation Enduring Freedom. Over the years, he has worked in multiple high-acuity settings, including pain management centers, orthopedic trauma surgery, and sports medicine. His extensive experience includes performing advanced interventional procedures such as spinal cord stimulator implantations, facet nerve blocks, and regenerative injections like PRP and stem cell therapy.

At the Performance Medicine Institute, Michael is dedicated to helping patients address both acute and chronic pain issues, restore function, and improve quality of life. His expertise spans musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine, chronic pain management, and hormone optimization, ensuring that each patient receives holistic and tailored care.
