For years, I was misdiagnosed with Crohn’s disease and heavily over-medicated, taking more than 10 medications every day. After just two months under Dr. Mendias’ care, I’ve safely reduced that to only three medications.

What truly sets this practice apart is the amount of time they invest in their patients. Dr. Mendias has personally spent more than four hours with me over the past two months. Every appointment lasts well over an hour. He thoroughly reviews my blood work, explains what each result means, and supports every diagnosis and treatment recommendation with current medical research and published studies. Instead of simply telling me what to do, he makes sure I understand the science behind every decision. His knowledge, empathy, compassion, and commitment to patient education are unlike anything I’ve experienced.

The support staff is equally exceptional. Santos, Sterling, and the gentleman at the front desk are welcoming, compassionate, and incredibly responsive. They answer text messages after hours, on weekends, and even on days the office is closed. That level of communication and dedication is almost unheard of.

The physical therapy team is outstanding as well. Every therapist I’ve worked with has been warm, personable, and genuinely caring. They clearly explain the purpose and benefit of every treatment, making each session both educational and encouraging.

I first reached out to their ad on Facebook and I when I seen the services offered were just what my aching, obese body needed. I need Performance Medicine to take action in my life for healing. They listen, research and apply their talents in helping live one day at time towards a healthier body for longevity. The two times I've had ortho issues and saw Dr. Awan, he explained in clear terms his diagnosis. His prescribed treatments were spot-on as both times, the issues and pain improved until gone in a relatively short time.
